NONCREDIT TO CREDIT CAMPUS TOUR

SMC's Noncredit Older Adult Program held its very first Technical Resource Fair at the Emeritus Campus on June 6, 2017. Over 150 students participated.  Participating companies: Wise & Healthy Aging, Uber, Nancy's Tech Help for Older Adults, Microsoft, Junior Blind of America, EmpowerTech, and AARP Fraud Network Watch

On June 22, 2017, the Santa Monica Regional Consortium for Adult Education held its annual retreat. Consortium members came together to reflect on the year's successes and trials, our Mission and Vision, and to discuss and finalize our 2017-2018 Annual Plan

The Santa Monica College Noncredit Team held its very first Main Campus tour for Noncredit to Credit transfer students, on Monday, July 10, 2017. Accompanied by the Noncredit Student Services staff and our Consortium Co-Chair, Dr. Dione Carter.  Noncredit ESL students got to see the much of main campus' offerings, including the Library, Counseling, Career Center, Assessment Center, Bursar’s Office, the Art Department’s garden, Bookstore, Admissions, DSPS, Financial Aid, Sustainability, and Athletics.  Students also had the opportunity to tour the Math Complex and ESL Building.
